The DVR feature allows viewers to play, pause, delay, or replay the stream for up to 60 minutes. This is useful for both viewers and stream owners, as viewers can play the stream at their own pace, and stream owners can control live streaming content during sensitive incidents. 

There are two features included in this section:

• DVR: - records the stream for the past 60 minutes to allow the viewer to play, pause, or rewind the stream. Once enabled, the player will have a seek bar at the bottom that the viewer can use.
  
  
  
  IMPORTANT: After the stream is restarted, the video rewind may not be available for a while because the DVR needs some time to record content.
  
  
• Playback Delay: The stream played for the viewer is delayed depending on the time set. This is useful as a buffer if you need to censor some content. It is set to 0 seconds by default but can be set to a maximum of 30 minutes (1800 seconds). Please note that the DVR should be enabled for Playback Delay to work properly.
  
  
  
  For example, if the Playback Delay is set to 20 minutes (1200 seconds), the playback will always be delayed for at least 20 minutes, and viewers can use the DVR to go back for another 40 minutes. The total recorded time the viewer has to go back and the Playback Delay combined is always 60 minutes.

To access the DVR feature:

• Sign in to your Ozolio Dashboard.
• Go to Cameras and locate your camera.
• Click on the Gear icon to access Camera Settings.
  
  
  
  
• Navigate to the "DVR" section.

• You can enable the DVR feature by checking the tick box beside "DVR Enabled".
• For "Playback Delay", input the preferred delay in seconds, up to a maximum of 1800 seconds (30 minutes).

IMPORTANT: Please note that the default DVR configuration in the Camera Settings can be overridden by the player configuration in the embedding manager.

To override DVR settings:

• Sign in to your Ozolio Dashboard.
• Go to Cameras and locate your camera.
• Click on the Actions Menu and select "Manage embedding".
  
  
  

• In the Embedding Manager, navigate to the "Content" tab.

• You can adjust the preferred delay in seconds, up to a maximum of 1800 seconds (30 minutes).
  
  This is useful if you have multiple embed codes and want to enable/disable DVR or change playback delay settings on each code.
